Easy Glam Thanksgiving Tablescape Anyone Can Do With Dollar Tree Supplies!
Happy Thursday everyone! Today I will be sharing a super-easy way to create a glam thanksgiving tablescape using Dollar Tree supplies! This will look so fancy your friends and family won’t believe you got everything on your tablescape for 1 dollar!
There are a few super easy DIY Dollar Tree crafts in this tablescape which I want to share with you first. And the rest is just using Dollar Tree supplies to create a glam Thanksgiving table!
Easy DIY Dollar Tree Thanksgiving Crafts For Your Tablescape
1. Thanksgiving Sign
For this simple Dollar Tree DIY, all you need is a bristle paintbrush, paint, and Dollar Tree Thankful sign.
I got this antique white paint at Walmart for like 54 cents. The angled bristle brushes are from Walmart as well.
Just remove the string in the back and give it between 2 to 3 coats of paint.
Now you have a beautiful sign for your glam Thanksgiving table!
2. Gold Trim Taper Candle Holders
The whole idea for this easy Dollar Tree DIY was to match these taper candle holders with these glass candle holders that have a gold trim on the bottom.
So I got this gold paint from Walmart which applies well on glass. It did take quite a few coats to get the look I was going for. Ten to be exact! But it was easily done throughout the day.
I just applied coats and went about my day in between letting it dry and applying again.
But I was really happy with that little extra touch of glam on the taper candle holders!
Note: I did have to shave my taper candles a bit to fit these candle holders but it worked out fine in the end! Dollar Tree Taper Candles are smaller and might fit perfectly on these.
3. DIY Fancy Napkins
The easiest and cutest DIY of all for this Thanksgiving tablescape are these super cute napkins!
I actually used a flour sack towel from Dollar Tree as my napkins. They are super soft and they worked wonderfully for this easy DIY fancy napkin!
First I folded the towel in half length-wise, then I folded it in half again to make a square, as shown below.
Then I folded the towel using the fan folding method.
I folded that in half again.
And finally, I placed this super cute berry garland that I used as my napkin ring!
How simple yet glam is that!
4. Taper Candles On Leaf Candleholder
For this craft, I used these leaf candle holders to hold my taper candles.
I simply put hot glue straight on the leaf candle holder and placed my candle on top.
I love the extra elevation this gives my table!
Note: The taper candles from Dollar Tree don’t have flat bottoms. So if you end up purchasing those you can simply cut the bottom end to make it flat and then glue it onto the leaf candle holder.
5. Gold Tulle and Ribbon Around Vase
I actually decided to do this craft while I was setting up the table. Sometimes you just gotta see your creation come together to figure out if you want to add something or not.
In this case, I definitely wanted to add more glam to my table, specifically, to my vases!
So for this last Dollar Tree DIY, I just got this glitter tulle and wrapped it around this vase twice, and secured it with a dot of hot glue.
I used this glitter ribbon over the tulle to add even more sparkle and shine to this glam Thanksgiving table!
Dollar Tree GlamThanksgiving Table Setting
Now that all the Dollar Tree DIYs are done it’s time to put it all together!
This is definitely the fun part for me! I loved seeing all the cute gold and orangy pieces come together beautifully!
First I placed this gray/silver runner on the table to tone down all the gold, rose gold, and orange.
I put my painted Thankful sign right in the center of the table.
Then I placed the two vases on either side of the table with these pampas picks from Walmart (that were under a dollar) because Dollar Tree was already out of Fall florals!
Next, I placed my gold-rimmed candle holders and taper candle holders that I painted, and leaf candle holders near the vases at the ends.
I placed the smaller rose gold ceramic pumpkins towards the front and the larger orange pumpkins towards the back of the vase.
And these cute white pumpkin candles with a gold stem next to the rose gold ceramic pumpkins.
Finally, I set my table with these gold fluted charger plates.
I used my Ikea plates here but Dollar Tree has similar white plates just like this that you can use.
And to top it off, the beautiful “napkins” were placed right on top of the plates.
Again, this was so easy and fun to make, anyone can do this! Feast your eyes on this Dollar Tree glam Thanksgiving tablescape!
